When I was in college, one of my favorite buildings was the food science building. Why, you might ask? I'll tell you. I would go there once a week for a "Smelling" test. The students would give us some samples of liquid and we were to smell the different samples and tell them which ones had citric acid in them----why, I do not know!! But I do know that if we guessed right, we got a certificate for a free Aggie ice cream cone(the best ice cream in the WORLD). If we guessed the scents and got all of them right, we got 2 certificates--as a bonus. I almost always got 2 certificates--I would then share with my roomates. Nice, huh?? So, what does this have to do with a picture of lavender paraphenalia? Well, as history has told, I have a very sensitive nose--what a talent, huh? =) I like things to smell GOOD, thus, aromatherapy is important to me, and I LOVE the scent of lavender. The other day one of my girls used some anti-bacterial gel that was in the car. She said," You EVEN have an antibacterial gel in the scent of lavender? What don't you have in lavender? " So, I gathered the things in my home that are lavender related---shower gel, bath splash, soap, candle, hot pads, dried lavendar, fake lavendar, lotion, hand-stitched pillow, anti-bacterial gel,car air freshner and linen spray. I just bought a diffuser-- lavender scented today, too. Obessesed?? maybe!!! Aromatheropied(is that a word??)--you Bet!! Notice the only thing missing from the lavender collection is real lavender. That is because I don't have a green thumb, not even a light green thumb. Sad, sad...so if anyone out in blogland has lavender growing tips, great places to buy lavender products , or stores that sell fabric with lavender printed on it, please send the info my way. Happy smelling.....

I love all your lavendar stuff!! So fun and a great story to go with it! I have some dried lavendar in a box my mom made me. I know, lavendar is so pretty!

Well, you know that this post is my very favorite thus far! What a beautiful array of Lavender Items. It is my favorite scent along with Cinnamon and Vanilla. I love it more for bath and body, and I also have a bed linen spray that I use a few hours before bedtime. It makes the sheets smell so pretty. Thank You for sharing your love of Lavender.
