A loaf of bread

I am being grateful today for neighbors. Especially neighbors who know how to make bread. :) The doorbell rang and there stood my neighbor with a loaf of bread and a sweet note for me. My next favorite thing to chocolate is homemade bread!! :) The amazing thing about this gesture is that she has 11 children, her aged mother lives with them, and her husband is out of job. Something wrong with this picture, I should be taking her a loaf of bread... and more. She is amazing. How did she know that I needed my spirits lifted? I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow full of x-rays and charts-bla, bla, bla. I hope nothing serious, but who isn't a titch apprehensive to be poked, prodded and looked at through an x-ray screen? I hope to be the type of neighbor she was for me tonight!!

" Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

Be Nice to People,
Julie

This world is so great. I see nothing but horror on the 5:00 news, but they are getting the world all wrong. There are people like your neighbor all over this world doing God's work. I wish the news people read blogs more. My spirits have been lifted day after day with the wonders of women. Thank you so much for sharing. Blessing to you tomorrow, may everything go smoothly and painlessly.

Some people are just amazing. And I suspect she had thought that about you at one time or another as well. Good luck with your tests - I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers that they go smoothly, the technicians are gentle and kind, and all is well!

Julie, all the best tomorrow with your appointment. I will keep you in my prayers.

What a lovely gesture for your thoughtful and kind neighbour to bring some fresh bread.

Julie, I really enjoyed looking at your stitcheries and November decorations. It's beautiful to have such items around the house that remind us to count our blessings. I recently bought a beautiful sign that says: Too blessed to be stressed.

What a lovely and loving gesture, Julie. Exactly the kind of sweetness you deserve, my friend.

I hope your appointments went well and I so wish I lived close enough to go for a walk with you...

Have a restful weekend if you can.
