Julie: Oh, the Places You'll Go

Hello and good-bye for a few days. I am heading off to girl's camp for the next few days. Should be tons of fun.

Our theme for this year's camp for our stake is "Oh, the Places You'll Go". The theme for our individual ward is "Horton Hears a Who". Some of the ideas we are using are..."we know WHO we are", and a person's a person no matter how small..." we have created a very creative skit, made decorations, ordered special hoodies, created an elephant mail system, and will be eating beezle-nut stew. Don't you wish you could come?

I just have to show this cute idea. We have a secret ward who we give surprises to each day. We put together these water bottles with powdered lemonade for each of them for the day they go on their hike. They turned out just right!! We are also heart-atttacking their camp-site and giving them a basket full of treats!!

So, farewell, my friends. I will be in WHO-VILLE for a while--enjoying mountains, lakes, bugs, camp-fires, no sleep, 10 teen-age girls, dirty feet(heck, dirty everything ), and the peace and rejuvination that nature brings. ;0 WAHOO!!!!
